Members from East Grinstead won several honours at the Eastbourne League Finals on Saturday. We retained the Russell Cup (team of three consisting of Andy Meyers, Jim Howard and Malcolm Brain). Graham Fell won the Caffyn Cup, Elaine Kettle won the Spicer Cup, Malcolm Brain was placed third in the Veterans. Samantha Kettle was joint first in the Cardwell Ladies Cup with Linda Smallbone of Eastbourne RC after three shoot offs! A tremendous effort when up against someone of Linda's talent. Andy Meyers also took second in the Spain & Albury Cup. Sheena Wilde won the Clayton Bowl with Malcolm Brain taking second in the Coronation Cup.
